About

The operator’s experience.
The academic’s rigour.

More than 25 years in senior leadership across the Middle East, grounded in a PhD in Entrepreneurship from Nottingham Trent University, UK. For over a decade, I’ve advised, trained, and mentored entrepreneurs, founders, and family businesses across the Arab world on strategy, leadership, and growth.

The path

Most advisors have lived one of these. I’ve lived all three — and the combination is the point.

01
The operator

Experience built where decisions had consequences.

Twenty-five years in multinational leadership across Egypt, the Gulf, and the wider MENA region — owning regional P&Ls, launching products, developing markets, and leading commercial teams at Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Stanley Black & Decker, and Microsoft. It taught me what strategy looks like after the presentation ends.

The academic

Experience strengthened by evidence.

This wasn’t a late turn to academia. I earned my first MBA in Egypt back in 2001 while building my commercial career, and kept deepening it — a Global MBA from the University of Manchester, certification as a Professional Trainer, and ultimately a PhD in Entrepreneurship & Strategy from Nottingham Trent University. Rigour gave language and evidence to what experience had taught me by instinct.

The advisor

Where experience and evidence become action.

Today I work directly with leaders on growth, governance, succession, execution, and getting the right leadership in place. The aim isn’t only to recommend a direction — it’s to help translate it into decisions, capability, and implementation.
